Waffles with chocolate sauce



  • 250g tub mascarpone
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon icing sugar mixture
  • 200ml cream
  • 150g dark cooking chocolate, chopped
  • 8 store-bought waffles


Step 1


Mix together mascarpone with vanilla extract and icing sugar mixture until combined. Cover and chill until serving. Heat cream in a small saucepan and bring to boil. Remove from heat and pour over dark cooking chocolate. Stand for 2 minutes, then stir until smooth.

Step 2

To serve, toast waffles until golden brown and crisp. Top with chocolate sauce and a spoonful of vanilla mascarpone.
